Archery Improvement & Development Squad- ‘AIMS’
This program has been developed for members to shoot in a social environment on a regular basis to improve their archery skills whilst being rewarded for their achievements.
At ‘AIMS’ we encourage archers to attend the program on a regular basis so they can benefit from regular archery improvement and goals achievement set out in the program. LCA coaches and more experienced club members can assist in you reaching your goals with equipment tuning and advice, but this program is not a coaching clinic.
If you would like individual coaching, please speak with one of our accredited coaches for available times and associated costs.
All archers’ goals will be dependent on their skill level, bow type and age, with achievement awards presented to individuals once their goals are achieved.

We encourage LCA members of all skill levels to starts at the beginning of the AIMS program so we can collect feedback and monitor individual goals set out for each archery group.
Once you have completed all AIMS goals, you will be eligible to participate in the Promoting Engagement Archery Knowledge program- ‘PEAK’, where individuals are set more challenging score goals.

FAQ’s
Q: When does the AIMS and PEAK program run?
A: Every Saturday morning, arrive between 8:30 & 9:00am for equipment and range set up. First practice arrows will be shot at 9:30am.
Q: How much does AIMS and PEAK cost?
A: Absolutely free of charge.
Q: How do I register for the program?
A: All registrations are through Archers Diary: –
https://archersdiary.com/UpcomingEvents.aspx
Q: If I am unable to attend once I have started the program, what happens if I miss a week?
A: You can just continue the program where you left off last visit and register for the next event on Archers Diary, as archers will join the program at different times so there will be archers at different stages of their goals.
Q: How do I keep track of my archery goals?
A: Each participant will have their own goals booklet that will be filled in by the LCA coaches. This booklet will stay at the club and be handed to the archer at the beginning of each session so they can see how you are progressing at your goals.
Q: How long does each session on AIMS & PEAK take?
A: We anticipate each AIMS session will go for 1.5 hours, as you will be only shooting 30 scoring arrows and 18 practice arrows.
PEAK sessions will take approximately 2.5 hours to complete.
Q: What is the cost of private coaching?
A: Please speak directly with an LCA Archery Australia accredited coach for associated costs and available times.
